EPA / HUD Lead-Based Paint Disclosure Rule

In accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) "Lead-Based Paint Disclosure Rule" requirements, Penn State makes information on Lead-Based Paint available to occupants of single-family housing units.

PSU must provide the EPA/HUD Lead Hazard Information Pamphlet, "Protect Your Family From Lead in Your Home" (available in English and Spanish), to all lessees of single-family apartment units. This pamphlet is also distributed by the Graduate Housing Office in Auxiliary Services.

An additional source of information for lessees and homeowners, " Lead Paint Safety: A Field Guide for Painting, Home Maintenance, and Renovation Work", is also available from EPA/HUD.
