Driver Safety
Contact: Mark Linsenbigler, msl200@psu.edu814-865-6391

Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death and injury for all age groups. The National Safety Council reports that more than 41,000 people lose their lives in crashes each year and over two million more suffer disabling injuries. Many of these incidents occur during the workday or during the commute to work. Crashes both on and off the job have far-reaching financial and psychological effects on employees, their families, and their coworkers.

This page has been developed to generate driver safety awareness among Penn State faculty and staff. It includes relevant policies and links for obtaining further information.
