University Safety Council

This site provides useful information of resources and tools for designated Safety Council representatives to accomplish their duties.

The University Safety Council is comprised of members representing academic colleges and administrative units. University Safety Council representatives are commonly referred to as "Safety Officers."

The Responsibilities of a Safety Officer are:
To develop and implement, under the guidance of the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, a comprehensive and practical occupational health and safety program, and to maintain an environment that is conducive to the safety, health and well-being of the University community.
