Oil-Containing Drums and Equipment

Drums and equipment that contain oil have the potential to release significant quantities of oil to the environment. Procedures have been established to protect the environment and people through proper storage and handling while meeting the needs of the University. Equipment and containers that hold 55-gallons or more of any type of oil are required to be identified to EHS and users must follow appropriate procedures as established in facility-specific spill plans.
